Why is our name FIO Partners?

We selected the word FIO (f-ee-oh), Latin for “become” as our company name because we believe that each of our clients is in the process of becoming better than they are: more vibrant, more capable, more powerful, more able to bring about positive change in society. Choosing FIO as our name is our way of reminding ourselves that the role of capacity building demands that we join our clients in that process and add value to the journey. We see our name as both an invitation and a commitment.
